Oct. 4th, 2004 09:01 amTeeth are overrated. In several respects. I'm a timid and non-predatory turtle by nature, and it just seems inappropriate that I have these bulldog jaws. (As for playing with anyone else's teeth, I'd really rather leave that sort of thing to dentists.) My NTI is supposed to prevent me from clenching my teeth, when I'm sleeping, or in other stressful situations (presuming I can wear it, which of course presumes I won't want to be using my mouth for anything else. A limited set of stressful situations.) Since I knocked out a filling and had it replaced, the NTI hasn't *quite* fit. And my headaches have been worse in the mornings. It hasn't been bad enough for me to want to take 3 hours off work for an appointment with the fabulously helpful, yet fabulously inconvenient, NTI-specialist.
