the road goes ever on

The chainsaws started up right after midnight. The rock breakers have only been working for about ten minutes. I don't know where the city gets their concrete mixer, or who is responsible for maintaining it, but it needs lube. It's just mixing, not even pouring, and it hurts to listen to from a block away and 6 stories up.
