I should probably use larger baking pans or less enthusiastic baking powder.
The bright pink batter looks unsettling, but baking tones it down to a respectable cake-like color.
Trying hard not to turn the oven on was a sensible response to living in a hot apartment, much of the summer. Finding interesting things to bake all the time may not be such a sensible response to being miserably cold, especially as it's not even the middle of November.
I ought to save some for tomorrow.
