simple pleasures

adrian_turtleDo you know what it feels like to put on soft flannel pajamas when
they're still warm from the dryer? My feet felt like that all day,
yesterday. I have a pair of the world's most comfortable socks.
Dahlgren's (I keep wanting to spell that the other way) Alpaca Trek
socks. They cost the earth, and I don't even have 7-league boots to
wear with them. I still want to wear them every day.
My migraines have been flaring badly. I can't sleep properly,
can't wake up. I have so much free-floating irritation I can't
even post a proper rant to my livejournal (my "books this week"
post from Monday keeps getting delayed as I add more ranting.)
My hand hurts. I'm cold all the time, and everything smells
wrong.
But from the ankles down, I'm doing very well indeed.
