necklaces

I haven't worn a necklace in a couple of weeks. My workplace makes my neck itch too much. It's just me, apparently...everybody else wears necklaces. Specifically, almost everybody else wears cross pendants. I looked at my jewelry box this morning and wondered if it would be a good idea to wear my star or my hamsa once in a while, even with the itching. I am wearing my book, the same book most people who know me think of as the only necklace I have. I just feel more self-conscious about it today.
