wibbling about Readercon
Jul. 16th, 2008 11:37 pmIt's right on my way home.
This job doesn't leave me *completely* exhausted.
I haven't been to a con since the Farthing party last year, because my job did leave me completely exhausted every weekend this winter.
Yet I don't have an awful lot of spare energy, or spare time, for that matter.
And the last time I went to Readercon, I didn't have a very good time. I don't know how much of that was going to the wrong bits of the con, or not bringing the right energy to the con, as opposed to being out of rapport with the con itself.
Are you going? Or do you wish you were? I'm still not sure how much it's worth to me.
