I'm about to head to a "Stop the Coup" rally on the Boston Common. I hope it will be too crowded to find anyone except the 2 people I am planning to meet, but please join me. (Then again, it's a weekday and everyone is tired and there might be few enough that a couple more people standing there would be really noticeable!)

I found a piece of cardboard to make a sign, despite Redbird's recent valiant efforts to tidy up the living room. All I could think of was, "NO!" It has the virtue of fitting on the sign, but does not seem adequate in other ways. There's just so much to protest. Flail.

Thanks. Maybe next time. I am sufficiently disorganized that I barely made it out the door in time with my boots and glasses. Fortunately, there were nice people passing around "Stop the Coup" signs once we got there. It would have been nice to save it for next time, but the wind stole it out of my hands after we started walking.

Thanks for protesting! Things are just so scary right now. I am not sure that protesting can help, but it is *so* hard to find anything that does seem like it will make any difference. So I'm glad you are doing it!

Maybe for the next march! It does sum things up. I saw some good signs, in addition to the "Stop the Coup" somebody handed me.
"Justice for ALL" or

"Stop the Funding Freeze
Melt ICE"

or if I'm up for a big sign or small print
