You have a lovely city! I was particularly impressed with a detail you may not have noticed: the emergency vehicle lights do not strobe as aggressively as those in the US. I have sometimes wondered how badly my neurological health is declining, if the strobe lights in traffic trouble me so much more than they did in my youth (even though I use proper anti-seizure meds now.) But last week the light environment bothered me about as much as I remember it bothering me in the 1980s. Flashing lights on police cars and fire trucks, not blindingly bright, not aggressively rapid-flash strobes. No rapid-flash beacons on repair trucks or delivery vans or yield signs. I had a momentary desire to move there.
