worse than windows

I will try not to complain about inconvenient graphic user interfaces, about pulldown menus that don't have what I want, or only have it in insane places. Any of them, all of them, are better than trying to program with a single key and half a dozen jumper connections 7' off the floor. One presses "enter" to start the menu -- if you want to select the option presented, press enter within 3 seconds, otherwise another option might be offered. I hate this. Half the programmable options are not programmable through the menus, but only with the jumpers. According to the manual, J2 is very important, that's the label turns up in so many places on the wiring board.
