At least the guys in my lab weren't playing the horrible radio station. They were singing. Or trying to sing. One of them asked me if I remembered:
"Oh I wish I was an Oscar Meyer weiner
That is what I'd truly like to be
'Cause if I were an Oscar Meyer weiner
...but I don't remember how it ends."

I said, "Everyone would be in love with me," and they both stared at me.

One protested weakly, "That can't possibly be right. That would be...ugh. They have a little kid singing it."

I shrugged and smiled. "Funny what pop culture says about desire when you're not looking."
