The child was telling me about exciting things her class is doing (at preschool.)
Child: "Now it's October, so we had to change the calender to goats. The old picture for September was apples."
Adrian: "Does the calender have a picture of real goats, like you saw at Drumlin Farm?"
Child: "No, they were GOATS!"
Adrian: "Or are they pictures of the talking-animal kind of goats, like the three billy goats gruff?"
Child: "No, they were GOATS! The white kind!"
Adrian: "Some goats are white...wait. Do you mean goat that says 'beh!' or ghost that says 'boo!'?"
