on my back
Jan. 12th, 2005 05:22 pm1. Carrying moleskin in my backpack seems to be an effective way to prevent blisters inside my backpack. It’s not much good for my feet, though.
2. I need a better way to carry lunches in my backpack. Or tidier lunches. Or both.
3. My backpack does not tolerate machine washing terribly well. But washing was better than tuna salad. Or baba ganouj. Or even yogurt.
4. No books have been harmed in this experiment. Not even a notebook. By pure dumb luck, which I do not expect to continue. See also 2.
5. The last time I took everything out of the backpack to wash it, I found the little CD player I'd been searching for since I returned from Montreal. It's so much smaller than I expect music (etc) devices to be that it hadn't occured to me it could be in that little zip pocket on the side, while I hunted through my car and apartment and workplace and worried that I might have lost it.
