palm pilots
Nov. 26th, 2008 04:56 pmAre broken Palm Pilots good for anything at all? I have two that I've been saving, and I don't really know why anymore. One has a battery that won't accept a charge (at all, not even for a few seconds while it's plugged in), and the other doesn't have a usable screen. There isn't any critical data on them, in the sense of it being critical for me to recover or in the sense of it being critical for me to keep it from others. Still, I feel a little squeamish about sending something off to be used for parts when it's full of the ebooks I wanted to read and my old schedule of PT appointments from last winter. (I'm not at all squeamish about letting it languish in a corner of the kitchen that way.) Can these things be used for parts? Or are they trash? Hazardous waste? Raw materials for Halloween costumes?
