do something useful? go back to bed?
Feb. 12th, 2009 10:20 amMy schedule for the afternoon has a 6-hour gap I had not anticipated. (The local 5-year-old does not need to be wrangled, as she is somewhat less local for the time being.)
I registered to volunteer with the Greater Boston Food Bank, a few weeks ago, but I haven't actually worked a shift yet. That would be a good use of a few hours. Then again, it might not be the best of all possible plans to do something new and possibly physically stressful, the day before Boskone. (That's why I haven't been there yet. It looks like they want volunteers at times I'm not doing anything urgent, but it's more challenging to plan for travel time and recovery time, and do it all on days when my pain levels aren't too bad.)
On a much smaller scale, I could do laundry. Or put in a chunk of really diligent and aggressive work on the job search. Or go to the library. Or make cranberry bread. I wonder if I could find somebody to help eat it, tomorrow.
