The label on the tube: "Store in a cool, dry place. Keep tube capped when not in use." Doesn't everybody keep their toothpaste by the sink? Isn't that what you're supposed to do? I thought the craft of making waterproof plastic tubes was pretty well under control these days.

I think a lawyer approved the wording in 1965, and they haven't thought about it since.
