I started packing for my trip to Montreal too late at night. I'm thinking they should do a Letterman thing about boots changing into books. Or vice versa. (Er...the Sesame Street superhero. Not David. Probably not David. I don't actually know his first name, if he even has one.) If I don't bring boots, my annoyingly finite suitcase will have more room for books. The weather forecast is for temperatures hovering near freezing, most of the time I'm there, with moderate snowfall towards the end of my visit. I don't know if I want to gamble on how well Montreal clears their walkways after snowfall (or what they consider moderate), or if I'll just get cold feet.
