I feel very foolish about this. My apartment building has storage lockers in the basement. When I moved here 2 years ago, I put stuff in mine, and locked it with a combination padlock. For the first few months of sorting things out, I went down there every so often to get something, or put something away if it didn't fit neatly in the apartment.

Then I forgot the combination.

There isn't anything in the storage locker I have a really desperate or urgent need for. But there are a lot of things in there I would quite like to have. I've read decluttering advice that one should pack stuff away into a basement or attic, and if you can live without it for a year, that proves you should live without it forever. Of course I *could* live without it. QED. But replacement or finding workarounds involve various kinds of nuisance and expense I would prefer to avoid.

I want to break into my storage locker. I've been interested in this for more than a year, and asked various friends for help. I've been told that it's trivially easy to break a Master combination padlock with a screwdriver. With my hands (or perhaps my coordination, though I'm stuck with both), it's simply impossible. I've tried many times. This means I need heavy bolt cutters. I can't find them. None of the bolt cutters I've seen in hardware stores (or could borrow from work) are nearly big or strong enough. Where should I be shopping and what should I be asking for? er...considering that I'd rather not come right out and say I'm looking for a tool for breaking & entering.
