one thing after another

adrian_turtleI met Redbird at a New Year's party and fell in love with her. What with one thing and another, 20 years passed. (Some of those years have been pretty rough, but at least we had each other.) One nice thing about getting married is that it gives people a focus of celebration. I guess New Year's Eve is a time when the world celebrates, though I tend to run away and hide from fireworks. Tonight I got to hide from the fireworks in our safe cosy little nest, with Redbird and Cattitude. What with one thing and another, I like it here.
