Someone stepped on a tube of Bengay (menthol linament) breaking the tube and spraying the "new greaseless cream" on an assortment of items beside my bed. I'm going to wash the blanket and pillowcase. If airing the pillow doesn't get rid of the smell, I'm replacing it...it's only a $6 pillow. The rug is airing in the stairwell, despite the building management's new policy against putting anything in common areas -- if someone objects strongly enough to take it away, I won't really mind. Then there's my bear. My bear did not have sore muscles, and did NOT need any linament, thank you very much. He'll be sitting by the window for a few days while I contemplate the need to wash him.
